Craft, science and art all come together in our approach to applying dye to a range of worsted, wool-blend and other fabrics for the fashion and contract interior markets. We use both traditional and cutting edge techniques, to achieve the desired results, whether it’s producing small pieces of on-trend fashion colours or large runs for customers where colour accuracy is paramount.

Our lab dyeing machine dispenses accurate dyes to produce small shade cuttings for customer shade cards and keeps the colours on record for accurate matching when the longer run orders come in.

We have a dedicated colour lab with skilled colour technicians who operate a computerised match prediction system that measures colour and then calculates the required recipe to make that colour.

WINCH DYEING: We use traditional Yorkshire winch dyeing machines in a number of sizes, these have a kind action suitable for wool and wool blend fabrics and give flexibility of dye batch sizes.

JIG DYEING: Open width machinery enables the dyeing of fabrics sensitive to creasing, including silk, cotton and linen either on their own or in combination with wool, cashmere or mohair. These three options allow customers the flexibility to be more creative with their piece dye products.
